The Pang Dynasty (庞朝), is the fifth Imperial dynasty of Chima. Separated into two eras, the Western Pang based in Arris ruled by Ar Aethas and later Eastern Pang based in Kailong Municipality.
When Aethas conquered Reme, the Ying dynasty of Reme was replaced with a new name too. Aethas named his Chiman dynasty Pang, and ruled as Emperor of the Arlish and Pang together. He would soon find managing two vast empires too difficult and before his death, willed the two empires to each of his two sons. Prince Aegeus inherited Chima and moved to Chima to rule as Hongrui Emperor of Pang.
Hongrui ruled Chima but many viewed his rule as illegitimate as he lacked the heirloom seal. Wen he requested the imperial seal from his younger brother, stating that its a Chimese imperial relic that belonged to the emperor of Chima. Aereus refused and thus began the War of the Two Emperors.
Farrone was war-torn while Chima emerged unscathed after the Realm War, and thus had lots of resources for war. The gulf cities fell under the Pang and Arlia under Aereus decided to surrender after his brother sailed up the Arrisian river. Emperor Aereus yielded the heirloom seal to his elder brother and the imperial war ended.
Hongrui ruled with full mandate and held all power. He was a popular monarch as Chima finally experienced an emperor living in Chima, though he was a general and lacked political skills. He passed the throne to his impotent elder son but was usurped by his younger son who shall become the Hongle emperor.
Hongle was an intellectual and sought to change the Pang into a great nation based not of conquest but of standards of living. Hongle commissioned the Hongle Encyclopedia, and was the largest compilation of knowledge in history. Emperor Hongle also began resuming peaceful relations with the western empire and gifted many copies of the Hongle collection to the Western Emperor.
When the Pang Dynasty fell, its dynasts fled and one of which is Pang Zhan who bore the mandate of the Pang dynasty and established a new Chinese state called Pang in Hainan during the Five dynasties and Ten kingdoms period in China.
